I really love this idea and I wish more American schools Incorporated it. When I was a cook at a grade school, we used to have the older kids wipe down tables when they were done. At some point when I had injured my arm I had asked students to put the chairs on top of the tables so that sweeping could be easier. I had a few of the more wealthy parents about blow their mind that they weren’t paying tuition for kids to sweep floors and put up chairs. that’s when I felt like I could no longer work there. My mission and their “mission” were not the same anymore. 🙂
